About me

Professional experience

My professional working experience will enrich the therapeutic process, as I will be able to draw on my experience of working with a great variety of clients presenting with a diverse range of problems, with young people and adults from all walks of life.

I started as a trainee counsellor in year 2000, working for a charity in the field of addictions initially working with adults. Later, I offered my services as a volunteer bereavement counsellor. I also have the experience of working for the public and the charitable sector with children and young people. Besides this I run a private practice providing individual counselling and therapy.

Last but not least, I am a fellow human being and have experience of being in the chair of the client, undertaking personal therapy as part of my training.

  • MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice @ Bath Spa University
  • Sensorimotor Psychotherapy: Affect Dysregulation, Survival Responses and Trauma Memory
  • PgCert in Evidence-Based Psychological Treatment (Traumatic Stress Studies) @ Reading University
  • BA (Hons) in Counselling @ Greenwich University
  • Diploma of HE in Counselling @ University of Southampton
  • Certificate in Bereavement Counselling

Besides keeping up with current research and developments in the field of therapy and psychotherapy, I also regularly attend workshops and conferences in order to enhance my skills and knowledge to support my client work.

  • Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute Alumni member
  • UKPTS– UK Psychological Trauma Society

As a Registered Accredited member of the BACP, I abide its Ethical Framework and undertake regular supervision to ensure my practice is effective.
